Moove-In Day(s)

Freshmen have a choice for living on campus. Incoming freshmen who choose to live on campus are guaranteed housing in the residence halls for the fall quarter, provided all requirements and deadlines are met. Keep in mind, over 90% of incoming freshman choose to live on campus.

Same for Transfer Students except that you will be offered housing in on-campus residence halls or apartments.

Moving into the Residence Halls

Before heading to campus for moove-in, there are a few things you need to take care of. You can see the residence hall move-in information or read the FAQ. Best advice is to be prepared. Check the list and get it done.

Off-Campus Housing

If you are a returning UC Davis Back to School student or a transfer student, you have more options for choosing where you want to live. Many students, similar to you, prefer to find a place to live off-campus.  After spending a year living on-campus, students begin to look for other locations to live. They begin looking for off-campus housing that is convienient, close to shopping, has plenty of dining options, and provides opportunities to explore and enjoy the community.

The Davisville family of off-campus apartments offers much to the UC Davis students who choose to live off-campus. Located near the UC Davis campus along Alvarado Ave in North Davis, these apartments are an attractive choice for both students and working professionals. All three apartment complexes have easy access to campus via bicycle or bus, quick access to transporations systems (Unitrans), and close to plenty of shopping and dining options.

From these three apartment facilities, you and your friends can choose from 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3 bedroom, or 4-bedroom apartments.
